Refund & Cancellation Policy

Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance — monthly or annually, as you select at checkout. You can cancel at any time from your Plan page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep premium access until then. Your portfolio and data remain intact when your account reverts to the free plan.

We do not pro-rate refunds for partially-used billing periods.

When we will refund

We will refund a subscription payment in full if:

  • You were charged in error or charged twice for the same period.
  • A core paid feature was unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 hours) due to our outage.
  • You request a refund within 7 days of your first paid charge and you have not used a paid-only feature during that window.

When we will not refund

  • You forgot to cancel before renewal.
  • You changed your mind after using paid features for more than 7 days.
  • You did not get cast or hired through the Service. TakeOne provides tools for discovery; we cannot guarantee outcomes.
  • Your account was suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service.

Credits

Credits purchased on TakeOne are non-refundable and non-transferable. They have no cash value and expire 12 months after they are issued unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase. Credits earned through referrals or promotions are subject to the same rules.

How to request a refund

Email billing@jointake.one from the email associated with your account, with:

  • The order number or invoice ID.
  • The reason for the refund.
  • The date of the charge.

We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer at grievance@jointake.one. We will respond within 15 days as required by Indian law.
