For actors & creators

How do I get discovered?

Build out the seven Portfolio tabs (Profile, Showreel, Physique, Skills, Preferences, Filmography, Contact) and your completion ring will fill up. Casting directors filter on these fields, so the more you fill, the more searches you'll surface in.

What's the difference between Public and Unlisted?

A Public profile is searchable by directors and shareable via your jointake.one/yourname URL. Unlisted means only people with the link can see it - good if you want to share with one specific person but not appear in search.

How do I apply to a casting call?

Go to the Job Board, find a role that fits, and apply with one click. The director sees your full portfolio along with the application - you don't need to send anything separately.

For casting directors

How does talent search work?

Open Browse Talent and filter by craft, language, city, age range, experience level, height, and more. You can also upload a reference photo to find lookalikes via face search.

How do I post a casting call?

Click "Post a casting" from your dashboard. Fill in the role, requirements, shoot dates and city. The clearer your requirements, the more relevant your applications.

For production houses

How do I add my talent roster?

Once your house profile is set up, invite your existing talent through the Roster page. They'll get a link to claim or create their TakeOne profile, with your house attached.

Account & billing

How do credits work?

Some premium features (face search, advanced filters, posting boost) consume credits. You get a starter balance on signup, earn more through referrals, and can top up from your Plan page.

How do I cancel my subscription?

From the Plan page, click "Manage subscription". You'll keep premium access until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free plan. Your portfolio and data stay intact.
